Step into your Purpose!

In my personal life, if I did not take that first step, this blog would’ve been just an idea, being twirled about in my head, and what I am experiencing today, because of that first step, would’ve been, an imagination of the mind, a dream.

Many times, in our spirit we feel the urge to do something, to pursue an idea. We sense a freedom feeling that pushes us to do it and yet there are those inhibitions in our minds, the things that we say to ourselves that does not help that idea to materialize into something big, into something you cannot imagine because God does not unfold everything in front of you at once.

He requires us to exercise our faith, to follow him step by step. If he urges us to visit a friend today, don’t worry about what they would think, just follow his leading. You can trust that he has something good in mind.

As we live every day, let’s not hinder God’s “doing of marvelous things”, please don’t get in His way. Just think back to all the wonderful things we enjoy today, great books to read, great projects that have been started, great schools that have been built, wonderful inventions, churches planted and lives changed, all because someone was daring enough to take that “one step” following Jesus in pursuit of His will for their life.

Remember, whenever God is urging you to do something repeatedly, and you hesitate, you are really throwing water on the fire He has placed inside you, that passion He has giving you to live-out and to impact people, giving them hope.

Think about it today and seek to change the way you respond to God’s plea for you to “Follow Him”.
