Chronicles 16:29 “Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness”
The verse above creates a spurt of joy inside me, every time I read it!
Sometimes I would just take some time off, when I am alone, and just tell God how much I appreciate him. I would express myself out loud, digging deep for those words that, as much as possible, explains how I feel about his greatness, about the sweetest person I know. The very nature and character of God amazes me every day and it is always special to be able to say out loud, just how I feel about Him.
Here are some of my expressions to Almighty God, statements that come from my heart as I reflect on who he is.
What an awesome God you are!
You are magnificent, Most High God!
King of Kings and Lord or Lords, You Reign forever and ever!
No one compares to you; you are perfect in all your ways.
I lift my hands to you, you are worthy of my attention.
All creation yields before you, your power is matchless!
Thou art most Holy! Holiness belongs to you!
My heart yearns for your presence, for in your presence is an unexplained joy.
Your love reaches me, touches my deepest pain, fills my emptiness, you are my substance , the reason why I smile.
How big you are! How Great you are! Your might extends over all the earth. Your great arms keep me safe from all evil.
You are all knowing, always present! You alone are God!
You are the giver of all good gifts, most precious, awesome, Saviour!
Every praise belongs to you!! You deserve every ounce of my praise! How excellent is your Name!
